The Femund race is an annual long-distance dog sled race. The race starts in the historical mining town of Røros, which is listed among UNESCOs World Heritage Sites. Jon Anders Kokkvoll is the manager.

We welcome the Norwegian and International press in Røros and along the track in our beautiful mountain region. The media coverage of the Femund Race as well as dog sledding itself, has increased in recent years. We would like to invite you to follow up on the mushers and their four-legged friends all around the track.
